International Court of Justice Judgement
EG Justice

EG Justice welcomes today’s final decision by the International Court of Justice, which concludes that Equatorial Guinea’s Vice-President's luxurious mansion at 42 Avenue Foch in Paris “has never acquired the status of ‘Premises of the mission,’ within the meaning of Article 1 (i) of the ViennaConvention.”

We congratulate the dozens of courageous lawyers, anti-corruption advocates, citizens, and organizations who have relentlessly worked to hold Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue accountable for corruption related crimes in his home country and abroad, in France, the USA, Switzerland, Brazil and elsewhere.
